Precautions for the Use of School Chairs

Proper Seating Posture
Students should maintain an upright posture when using school chairs, keeping both feet flat on the floor and their backs against the backrest; rocking, jumping onto, or standing on the chairs is prohibited. Tilting the chairs or climbing on stacked chairs is strictly forbidden to prevent falls or accidental injuries.

Handling
When moving chairs, hold the seat or backrest with both hands rather than dragging the legs, to avoid damaging the floor or the chair itself. Ensure stability when stacking chairs for storage and do not exceed safe stacking height limits to prevent collapse.

Inspection
School chairs should be inspected regularly for loose screws or connectors, rusted metal parts, and cracks or wear on the seat surface. Chairs that are damaged or unstable must be repaired or replaced promptly. Use mild cleaning agents for maintenance; avoid strong acids or alkalis to protect the chair's finish.

Management
Chairs in the classroom should be arranged neatly to keep passageways clear and avoid obstructing evacuation routes. Any special activities involving the movement of chairs should be coordinated by a teacher or designated personnel to ensure safety and orderliness.
