Environmental Conditions
The storage area should be kept dry and well-ventilated, avoiding dampness, high temperatures, and direct sunlight. Tabletops made of wood or composite materials are prone to swelling and warping due to moisture absorption, while metal components can easily rust in high-humidity environments. Temperatures should remain relatively stable with good airflow to minimize the risk of dampness, mold, or corrosion.

 

Stacking Methods
Desks should be stacked neatly, with tabletops facing either up or down; legs and support frames must be positioned securely to prevent tilting or crushing. Stacking height should be limited-generally to no more than three units-to avoid collapses that could cause damage or safety accidents. For desks equipped with drawers or bookshelves, ensure all contents are removed to prevent deformation or crushing damage.

 

Protective Measures
Protective pads or cardboard sheets can be placed between tabletops and legs during storage to minimize friction and scratches. Metal parts may be treated with anti-rust spray or covered with dust cloths to prevent rust and dust accumulation. Regularly inspect the stored desks; any issues such as dampness, loose screws, or damaged finishes should be addressed promptly to ensure the desks remain in good condition for future use.
